Approachably tuned. Smooth and immediate. Compatible with any system and any music.

The Mini Semi-Closed (Mini S) is our hybrid-acoustic headphone — the clarity and spaciousness of an open back with the impact and black background of a closed one. It gives you the desired effect of a studio-grade recording while eliminating outside noise distractions, all in the same compact, folding travel design as the rest of the Mini line.

  • Hybrid acoustics — the best of both worlds: open-back clarity and spaciousness with closed-back impact and a black background

Reviews

“It's everything I want a 650 to be.”TylersEclectic

“The Mini S is a semi-open design that often comes with associated usually ‘better’ sonic qualities: snappier transient response, more spacious headstage, improved responsiveness to small signals, etc. ... This one to me is a home run.”Marv, SBAF

“If you like a very balanced, cohesive, natural sound, these are a great choice.”carlman

“Eta Mini S made short work of Senn HD 25 Light with Yaxi Alcantara pads and 580 BS. Nicely tuned across the entire freq response. More punch, slam, and overall energy than Auteur Classic. Initial impression is that they could compete with dynamic driver headphones up to $1500.” — Bpcarb

“These are two very engaging headphones (my tastes obviously) and though one might outperform the other in different areas (Atrium more slam wider headstage, Mini S better extension snappier transients), I found the enjoyment to be much closer than the price delta might suggest. For my money the Mini S is where I would spend my money for a sub $500 headphone. That's why I did. If it's at all possible I'd suggest getting ears on a Mini S if you're in the market for a headphone in the $500 price range.” — Jinxy245
