ETA ULI - Q4 Release
AlNiCo, The Golden Age of Audio in a headphone today.
ULI features ETA Audio's 8th generation driver, featuring the exotic magnetic alloy AlNiCo for our smoothest and most transparent sound.
What is AlNiCo?
AlNiCo is an exotic magnetic alloy comprised of Aluminum, Nickel, Cobalt and Iron. You won't it find anywhere other than from ultra-expensive boutique loudspeaker manufactures or legendary vintage speakers from JBL, Altec, Tannoy, and others. AlNiCo offers unique electromechanical parameters compared to conventional neodymium. This imbues a sweeter decay, lower distortion, and increased efficiency. After years of research and engineering we are happy to introduce this unique and beloved technology to a headphone of the 21st century.
What is ULI?
ULI is our Ultra Low Impedance headphone. Low Impedance isn't just for electrical impedance, but acoustic impedance too. Our design criteria includes a smooth laminar wavefront with no acoustic filters or turbulent resonators, just good vibrations.

Underhung Voice Coil
Unlike the vast majority of headphone drivers, the ULI driver utilizes an underhung voice coil - a feature often only seen in ultra-expensive loudspeaker drivers. An underhung voice coil moves entirely within the magnetic field produced by the AlNiCo motor system through the extent of its excursion. This manifests as superior transient response and linearity compared to overhung counterparts.
